Carpet Anemones
Carpet sea anemones serve as a host for many types of clownfish in the wild. These carpet anemones for sale require a reef aquarium with strong lighting and water movement. The aquarium should have a variety of sandy and rocky locations as these anemones can move about and seek refuge in a place it prefers. Carpet anemones prefer to bury their foot in the sand for protection. Care must be taken as some carpet anemones have a very potent sting.
