The Bubble Coral, Plerogyra Sinuosa, is a beautiful LPS coral that originates from the reefs of the Indo-Pacific.  The bubble coral has large fleshy polyps that will cover the entire skeleton.  Like many LPS corals the Bubble COral does have sweeper tentacles that can harm other corals within reach.

The Bubble Coral requires moderate lighting and low water movement.  Too much water flow can impede the coral from fully expanding.  The large fleshy polyps are very fragile and will puncture easily.  Special attention is needed when handeling these corals.  Only handle them by the hard skeleton so you don't tear the polyps.
